HGV Technician Shift

HGV Technician – Split/Shift Days and Lates

Days Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Lates Mon-Thurs 12pm-10pm

Location: Firow Ltd, 2 Plymouth Ave, Brookhill Ind Est Pinxton, Nottingham,

NG16 6RA.

Pay: Day Shift - £20.00 per hour

Lates Shift- £21.00 per hour

Overtime: Paid at time and a third

Holiday: 21 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Technician to join our team on a full-time night shift basis.

We will also consider experienced Light Vehicle Technicians who are looking to progress into the HGV sector. Full support and training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately

Working independently during night shifts

What we’re looking for:

Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

OR experienced Light Vehicle Technician ready to step up

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Ability to work independently on night shifts

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

What we offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £20.00-£21.00
