We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide exceptional in-home care to patients across diverse settings. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and document patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems
• Support medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to home healthcare regulations and HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral management
• Perform catheter care, wound care, and other medical procedures as trained and authorized
• Help with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe environment for patients
• Assist with patient transfers using appropriate methods like Hoyer lifts or transfer belts while practicing proper patient transfer techniques

Requirements

• Proven experience working as an HHA or in a similar home healthcare or senior care setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation, and home health care assistance procedures
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in various environments including assisted living facilities or nursing homes
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) are preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate record keeping and documentation
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, assist with patient transfers, and provide end-of-life or hospice care when necessary
• Understanding of home & community care regulations along with HIPAA compliance to maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
