HHA/Caregiver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role is crucial in delivering quality home care services, particularly for those in hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor and document patient observations and changes in condition.
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
• Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, hospice care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes is a plus.
• Strong understanding of patient observation techniques and the ability to report changes effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for success in this role.
