High Dose Tutor

East Lyme Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate High Dose Math Tutor for our middle school students. This role is designed to provide intensive support to students to help them achieve proficiency in math. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, employ effective teaching strategies, and work closely with students to improve their mathematical skills and understanding.

QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field is required. • 229 Certification preferred • Prior experience working in an educational setting is preferred. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents. • Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when dealing with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. • Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. • Reliable and punctual attendance, with the ability to adhere to a flexible schedule.
