High-End Residential Construction Superintendent

Job Summary
As a Construction Superintendent at Carpe Diem Homes, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. You will lead and supervise on-site operations, manage project schedules, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise in construction management software and your ability to read blueprints will be essential as you coordinate with various teams to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. We build high end spec homes and custom homes.

What you’ll do

• Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Manage subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Utilize Fieldwire and other construction management software.
• Conduct regular site inspections to enforce OSHA safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, construction estimating, and quality control measures.
• Review contracts and schematics to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Implement effective project scheduling techniques using HeavyBid to optimize workflow.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including timelines, budgets, and quality assessments.
• Property management for a rental home/airbnb.

Basic qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site management with a strong understanding of construction processes.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
• Good work ethic and common sense.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
