High School After-School Program Assistant

King’s Corner School is a small, private Christian school that prioritizes community and discipleship. We are looking for a part-time assistant for our High School After-School Program which is called “Youth 4:12.”

Job Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist the Youth 4:12 After-School coordinator with all activities, providing supervision and homework support for students.
• Develop healthy relationships with students and watch closely for students who are struggling.
• Communicate with students often, well, and with care.
• Communicate with parents often, well, and with care.
• Weave Biblical principles into all subjects when possible.
• Participate in all Teacher/Staff training and staff meetings.
• Be available to pray with and for students/families when the need arises.
• Use technology to communicate to administration and to the families.
• Implement and maintain classroom/small group management that is Christ-centered, encourages accountability, and that always reflects Christ’s grace and love.
• Other duties that may be assigned

Job Skills & Requirements

Required:

• Christian - in faith and practice
• Classroom/ Student Group Management
• Organized, teachable, team player, and able to multitask.

Preferred:

• Experience working with youth in an educational or ministry setting

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 per week
