High School Mathematics Coach

Illumina Learning Management and Support is seeking a dedicated and experienced High School Mathematics Coach to provide personalised academic support to students across different high school levels.

About the Role

You will work one-on-one with students to strengthen their understanding of mathematics, address learning gaps, and build confidence in solving mathematical problems. The ideal candidate can explain complex concepts in a simple, patient, and engaging way while adapting sessions to each student's curriculum and individual needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one Mathematics coaching to high school students
• Support students with Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Functions, Calculus, Statistics, and other high school Mathematics topics
• Identify learning gaps and provide targeted support
• Help students with coursework, homework, assignments, and problem-solving
• Prepare students for quizzes, examinations, and assessments
• Teach effective mathematical problem-solving and exam strategies
• Adapt coaching methods according to each student's level and learning style
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Complete session reports following each coaching session
• Communicate progress or concerns with the family/coordinator when required
• Encourage confidence and independent learning

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of high school Mathematics
• Previous experience teaching, coaching, or tutoring Mathematics
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently
• Experience with international curricula such as British, American, IB, or Cambridge is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills
• Patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
• Reliable, professional, and committed to consistent scheduling
• UAE-based candidates preferred

Job Type: Part-time / Freelance
Location: UAE – Online and/or In-person sessions

Pay: AED140.00 - AED150.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
