Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated High School Physics Teacher with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for academic excellence and competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Physics to high school students in an engaging, clear, and concept-oriented manner.
• Prepare and deliver well-structured lesson plans in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Develop students' understanding of fundamental Physics concepts through practical examples, demonstrations, experiments, and activities.
• Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure proper use of laboratory equipment and safety procedures.
• Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, projects, and study materials.
• Conduct regular assessments, evaluate answer scripts, and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide additional support to students who require improvement.
• Prepare students effectively for Board Examinations and competitive examinations, wherever applicable.
• Maintain accurate academic records, marks, attendance, and other required documentation.
• Follow the school's academic calendar, examination schedules, assessment procedures, and departmental guidelines strictly.
• Maintain effective classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, academic planning, workshops, school events, and other assigned responsibilities.
• Collaborate with other teachers and academic coordinators to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
• Stay updated with current teaching methodologies, curriculum developments, and Physics education practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics or a relevant subject.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the high school level.
• Strong command of Physics concepts and practical applications.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong classroom management and student-handling abilities.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.
• Good lesson planning, assessment, and academic documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and technology for teaching is preferred.
• Ability to motivate students and support different learning levels.
• A professional, responsible, and student-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience teaching Classes 9–12.
• Experience with State Board curriculum, depending on the school's requirements.
• Experience in preparing students for Board and competitive examinations.
• Strong practical/laboratory teaching skills.
• Proven record of improving students' academic performance.
• Ability to take additional academic responsibilities when required.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
