Responsibilities

• Facilitate and supervise high school students during Spanish language lab sessions, ensuring active participation and respectful conduct.

• Support curriculum implementation by helping students practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities aligned with language learning standards.
• Maintain a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages language experimentation, cultural exploration, and peer collaboration.
• Monitor student engagement during standardized testing or assessments within the language lab environment.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student participation, progress, and behavioral observations.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with high school students in classroom or lab settings, preferably in language education or related fields such as linguistics or literacy education.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish language instruction principles, curriculum development, and educational technology integration..
• Excellent communication skills for mentoring students and collaborating with educators and parents effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior and adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
• Experience implementing IT-integrated lessons and using learning management systems or digital resources in educational settings.
• Knowledge of standardized testing procedures, educational compliance regulations, and special education considerations is a plus.
