Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

We are seeking to appoint a part-time HLTA (min 10 hours per week) on a permanent contract. This appointment may be combined with a general teaching assistant role for some mornings during the week.

The successful candidate will lead KS1 and KS2 classes to cover PPA sessions during afternoons and also provide scheduled, and short notice, cover for teacher absence. Additionally, the role may include some targeted intervention work.

If you are interested in this role but do not have a HLTA qualification, then we may be able to support and enable you to undertake this qualification.
