Highway Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day highway and road construction activities.
• Monitor earthwork, embankment, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, drainage and road structures.
• Ensure execution as per MoRTH specifications, IRC standards and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, QA/QC, Survey, Planning, Billing, Plant & Machinery and subcontractors.
• Check levels, alignment, gradients, quantities and quality of executed works.
• Monitor manpower, materials and machinery required for daily execution.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
• Assist in measurements, quantity verification and RA billing.
• Identify site issues and coordinate with seniors for timely resolution.

Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience in road/highway projects.
• Good knowledge of highway construction and site execution.
• Knowledge of MoRTH, IRC and relevant IS Codes.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in EPC / NHAI / MSRDC / PWD / State Highway projects will be preferred.
• Willingness to work at project sites.
