What they need
Role & responsibilities
- Overlay/Periodic Maintenance of National Highway with bituminous concrete (BC)
- Operations and maintenance of part/section of National Highway (NH-62) including both corrective & preventative maintenance
- Compliance of observations of Independent Engineer Inspection Reports in a time bound manner
- Identifying the potholes & filling them immediately
- Identifying cracks on the highways and sealing them
- Installation of Metal Beam Crash Barrier, Sign Boards & any other road furniture
- Carrying repairs of culverts, median etc.
- Construction of Granular Shoulders, Road Marking etc.
- Coordination with supervisors & subcontractors for efficient management of resources
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules to meet project timelines
Preferred candidate profile
- Prior working experience of BC overlay on National Highways
- Good coordination & leadership skills for Operations & Maintenance of the Highway
- Familiarity with MoRTH / IRC specifications
