Job Overview

We are seeking a HIL Validation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in dSPACE HIL systems to support validation and testing of automotive control systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with HIL setup, commissioning, test execution, troubleshooting, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and execute HIL validation test cases for automotive ECUs and control systems.
• Perform dSPACE HIL setup, commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Work with ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, ConfigurationDesk, and related dSPACE tools.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and perform root-cause analysis and debugging.
• Work with CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and automotive communication protocols.
• Support HIL hardware, I/O, signal mapping, sensors, actuators, and load interfaces.
• Collaborate with software, systems, and controls engineers to resolve validation issues.
• Maintain test documentation, reports, and defect tracking.

Required Skills

• Experience with dSPACE HIL systems and hands-on HIL validation.
• Strong knowledge of ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, and ConfigurationDesk.
• Experience with Python-based test automation.
• Automotive ECU/system validation experience.
• Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Understanding of automotive embedded/control systems.
