HIMS Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Hospital Information Management System (HIMS).
• Create and manage user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
• Provide technical support and training to hospital staff using HIMS.
• Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate with the software vendor when required.
• Maintain accurate patient, doctor, department, billing, and other hospital data.
• Monitor data entry and ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports from the HIMS.
• Support modules such as OPD, IPD, EMR/EHR, Billing, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology, Inventory, and Discharge.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative departments for system-related requirements.
• Assist in implementing new HIMS modules, features, and process improvements.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, and SOPs.
• Monitor data security, user access, and confidentiality of patient information.
• Identify recurring system issues and recommend solutions.
• Support system testing during upgrades and new implementations.
• Ensure smooth integration and information flow between different hospital departments.
