Hire Centre Manager

Fifty years in the game. Operations across the US, Canada, UK, and EU. Now landing in Somersby, NSW.

Rarekind has partnered with a highly respected, family-owned global leader in the hire of lifting and hoisting equipment. Known for their unrivalled expertise, impeccable safety standards, and top-quality equipment, my client offers a people-focused culture that invests heavily in their team to ensure a thriving work environment.

We need a Hire Centre Manager to run the show at the new Somersby branch. You'll lead a small team, champion a culture centred on safety, continuous improvement, and superior customer service. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who likes owning the outcome.

What you'll be doing:

• You’ll stay on top of the maintenance paperwork, order the spare parts before you run out, and ensure equipment available for hire.
• You’ll open up, lock up, organise any repairs, and ensure optimisation across the centre so it works efficiently.
• Supervise, mentor and provide technical guidance to the hire centre team.
• Act as a technical escalation point, working seamlessly with the sales team, the General Manager and hire centre colleagues.

What you'll bring:

• Previous management/supervisory experience in a similar field.
• A clean driving record, MR and forklift licences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, with the occasional Saturday.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office programs.

This role offers real growth, real impact, real backing. If you want to build something with an industry leader that's scaling up, this is your shot.
