Hire Controller

We're recruiting for a Plant & Labour Resource Planner / Controller (Manager) , based in Somerset .

Our client is a National Civil Engineering contractor, primarily involved in the hire of labour and plant to the road maintenance and highway surfacing sectors.

This role would ideally suit:

Plant or Labour Hire Controller

Labour Manager

Resource Planner or Manager

The incumbent will manage the full labour and plant hire process:

Taking the initial customer enquiry and passing off to the commercial team for pricing

Logging the job onto the system

Allocating the appropriate manpower and equipment

Ensuring that the teams and plant arrive at site in good time

Closing the job on the system once complete

Uploading the invoice and posting to the client

We're ideally looking for someone who is keen to take ownership of the hire desk, including the management of a small administration team.

You will be working closely with the Board of Directors.

This role offers a high level of prospect to move into a sentio leadership role within the wider business.
