Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Finance Professional with 11 to 18 years of expertise to lead a team in driving global enhancement initiatives for our EBS Financials environment. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of managing a group of five or more colleagues while serving as the primary point of contact for client communications regarding priority enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of Oracle R12x and R122x systems, specializing in finance modules, project accounting, and sub-ledger accounting. Beyond technical proficiency, this position demands strong analytical skills to interpret process reports, map them to system configurations, and resolve complex application issues. The successful applicant will oversee the full lifecycle of change requests, from requirement streamlining and test scenario development to unit and integration testing, ensuring high-quality delivery and independent problem-solving capabilities in a consulting-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of five or more professionals to execute global enhancement processes and drive strategic improvements.

• Serve as the primary liaison for clients, providing regular updates on enhancements and prioritizing discussions based on business needs.

• Analyze process reports and documentation to accurately map business requirements into the EBS system configuration.

• Manage the end-to-end handling of Change Requests, including the preparation, review, and execution of test scenarios.

• Provide comprehensive production support and resolve critical issues within the Oracle Finance application suite.

• Leverage expertise in statutory regulations and product features to ensure system compliance and alignment with legal requirements.

• Evaluate and implement optimal payment and receivables formats and options to meet diverse business needs.

• Utilize ECC dashboards in R122x environments to monitor performance and drive data-driven decision - making.

• Develop robust test scripts and lead demonstration sessions to validate system readiness for business operations.

• Conduct independent business process analysis to identify gaps and propose effective, scalable solutions.

• Prepare and maintain high-quality documentation for all functional requirements, test activities, and system configurations.

• Manage Unit Testing and Integration Testing phases to ensure seamless system integration and functionality.

  Requirements

• Possess 11 to 18 years of robust finance expertise with a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Oracle R12x and R122x applications, specifically within the Finance domain.

• Exhibit strong functional knowledge across all finance modules, including Project Accounting and Sub-Ledger Accounting.

• Have hands-on experience with FIN Tables and Views to support complex data analysis and reporting needs.

• Display a solid understanding of statutory regulations and how to align product features to meet compliance standards.

• Show familiarity with various payment and receivables formats and the ability to configure them effectively.

• Possess the capability to independently prepare test scripts and successfully demonstrate system readiness to stakeholders.

• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.

• Demonstrate experience in consulting projects, showcasing the ability to work autonomously and deliver high-value solutions.

• Maintain a strong command of documentation practices to ensure clarity and accuracy across all project artifacts.
