We are looking for a talented Development Analyst to spearhead the deployment and upkeep of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. This position is vital for guaranteeing smooth data communication between our company and external business partners. The right individual will utilize their technical skills to set up translation software, verify intricate message structures, and assist in bringing new partners onto the network, ultimately boosting operational efficiency and data accuracy throughout the supply chain.

Experience: 7-12 years

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and sustain EDI translation workflows utilizing recognized industry translation platforms.

• Handle the transformation and execution of various file types, such as IDoc and XML formats.

• Implement and verify specific X12 transaction codes, including 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, and 945.

• Manage and review EDIFACT message categories like ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, INVOIC, and IFTMIN.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOMS protocols to ensure full regulatory compliance.

• Guide the integration of new EDI trading partners and conduct thorough message testing.

• Supervise the full lifecycle of EDI transactions, covering Purchase Orders (850), Acknowledgements (855), Advance Ship Notices (856), Invoices (810), and warehouse logistics data (940/945).

• Tailor solutions to align with unique trading partner mandates and implementation protocols.

  Requirements

• Demonstrated background in EDI translation utilities and software engineering.

• Advanced technical grasp of IDoc and XML data structures.

• High proficiency in X12 and EDIFACT standards, particularly concerning the specified transaction sets.

• Proven track record in managing EDI partner integration and resolving technical issues.

• Solid comprehension of supply chain logistics and inventory control transactions.

• Ability to analyze and execute EDI specifications unique to specific trading partners.
