We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager / Associate Director Data Analytics to lead enterprise data analytics projects across Azure and AWS environments.

• The role requires a strong combination of data analytics, cloud data platforms, business understanding, project management and client communication.

• The individual will work closely with business, technology and data teams to translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions and manage delivery from requirement gathering through UAT and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects including requirements, solution design, development, testing, UAT and deployment.

• Understand business processes, risks, controls and KPIs, and translate them into analytical requirements and data logic.

• Manage data analysts, SQL developers, data engineers and BI developers.

• Review analytics logic, SQL queries, data models and technical solution designs.

• Manage project timelines, resources, dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations.

• Conduct client workshops and communicate technical concepts in clear business language.

• Work with infrastructure, cybersecurity and application teams on data connectivity, security and performance.

• Identify opportunities for automation, continuous monitoring and additional analytics.

• Guide dashboard and management reporting development.

Technical Requirements

Strong understanding of:

• SQL and complex analytical query development

• Data modelling and ETL / ELT concepts

• Data quality, reconciliation and validation

• Large-volume transactional data processing

• Cloud-based data engineering and analytics architecture

• Power BI or similar BI/reporting platforms Microsoft Azure

Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of:

• Azure Synapse Analytics

• Azure Data Factory / Synapse Pipelines

• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2

• Azure SQL Database

• Databricks

• Power BI

• Secure cloud connectivity including Private Endpoints and ExpressRoute

SAP / Enterprise Data Experience

Preferred experience with:

• SAP S/4HANA / HANA data

• SAP Finance, Procurement, Inventory or Sales datasets

• Extraction of SAP data into cloud analytics platforms

• Large transactional tables and performance considerations

• ERP data reconciliation and validation

Business & Project Management Skills

The candidate should be able to:

• Understand business processes and convert them into analytics use cases

• Run requirement and solution workshops independently

• Manage multiple analytics workstreams

• Handle senior client stakeholders and project escalations

• Present analytical findings and project status to management

• Balance business requirements with technical feasibility

• Manage changing requirements and delivery priorities

We are looking for someone who is not purely a project manager and not purely a developer.
