Job Description

We are looking for an experienced AWS Databricks Administrator to manage, administer, and optimize enterprise Databricks environments on AWS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for platform administration, security, governance, cluster management, monitoring, and supporting data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage Databricks workspaces in AWS.
• Configure and maintain clusters, jobs, pools, and compute resources.
• Manage Unity Catalog, data governance, and access controls.
• Implement and maintain security standards, IAM roles, RBAC, and networking configurations.
• Monitor platform performance, utilization, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot Databricks platform, cluster, and job failures.
• Integrate Databricks with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, and Redshift.
• Support CI/CD deployments and automation using Terraform and scripting.
• Work closely with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Cloud teams.
