Responsibilities :-

• Strong modern C++ (C++17 or later), memory management, multithreading
• Hands on experience reading, writing, demuxing, and muxing multimedia files
• Practical FFmpeg experience, including libavformat, libavcodec, libavutil, libswscale, libswresample
• Container formats such as MP4, MOV, MXF, and MKV
• Video codecs (H.264, HEVC, ProRes, DNx) and audio codecs (AAC, PCM)
• Pixel formats, color spaces, chroma subsampling, and bit depth
• Audio and video sync, timecode, variable and drop frame rates

Preferred:

• Broadcast, live production, or post production domain experience
• Hardware accelerated encode and decode (NVENC, Quick Sync, Video Toolbox)
• Streaming protocols such as RTP, RTSP, SRT, or NDI
• GStreamer or Media Foundation
• Performance profiling of real time media pipelines
