What they need
Preparation of pre and post shipping documents
- Preparation of pre and post shipping documents are made like proforma invoice, Draft Bill of Lading as per LC and non-LC terms etc.
- All the details pertaining the invoice should be updated in the system.
Maintaining a track of the shipment filling
- Liaison with the customers for Shipping Bill & Shipping Instruction filling.
- Prepare cargo & freight manifest
- ODEX filing & SI Submission in Export.
- ICE GATE filing in Import.
Co-ordination with other departments for smooth functioning
- Co-ordination with operations team, customer service, liners forwarding agencies and CHA for stuffing reports and other documents must be done.
- Follow up with Liners for payment release.
Scrutinizing Import/Export Documents
- Examining checklist, bill of lading and AWB needs to be maintained.
Maintain export related files of the organization Role & responsibilities
