Job Overview

Sunshine Renewable Solutions is hiring a reliable and safety-focused Solar Installation Technician to support solar energy projects in Houston. The technician will assist with panel installation, mounting systems, equipment connections, and on-site system testing while maintaining professional workmanship and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, racking, mounts, and related components.
• Assist with electrical wiring and equipment connections under applicable supervision.
• Follow project plans, installation layouts, and manufacturer instructions.
• Measure, align, and secure solar equipment for proper installation.
• Inspect completed work for quality, fit, and potential issues.
• Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and installation equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow OSHA, electrical, and company safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous solar, electrical, roofing, or construction experience preferred.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and installation diagrams.
• Comfortable working outdoors and at heights.
• Good physical stamina with ability to lift and carry equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively with a team.

Pay: $23.00 - $31.00 per hour
