Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Your exceptional customer service skills will help set the tone for our restaurant, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
• Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials
• Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to enhance their dining experience
• Assist in managing waitlists during peak hours

Experience

• Previous hosting experience is preferred, but not required
• Background in food service or restaurant experience is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is beneficial
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
