HMC Operator

To operate and monitor Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines and produce precision components as per engineering drawings, process sheets, quality requirements, and production schedules while maintaining safety, productivity, and machine efficiency.

A. HMC Machine Operation

• Operate HMC machines as per production requirements and approved work instructions.
• Load and unload components, fixtures, pallets, and raw materials safely.
• Verify machine setup before starting production.
• Monitor machining operations, cycle time, tool condition, and machine performance.
• Ensure production is carried out as per the approved process plan.

B. Machine & Tool Setting

• Perform tool setting, work offset setting, and fixture/workpiece setting.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and fixtures.
• Check and adjust tool geometry and wear offsets.
• Replace worn, damaged, or broken tools as required.
• Maintain proper cutting parameters such as speed, feed, and depth of cut.

C. CNC Program Handling

• Load and execute approved CNC programs.
• Understand basic G-Code and M-Code.
• Make minor program/offset corrections within authorized limits.
• Identify program-related or machining-related issues and report them to the concerned supervisor/programmer.
• Ensure the correct program is selected for the respective component.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
