HMPT Captain / Training and Checking Pilot

Auriga Aviation is seeking a suitably qualified HMPT Captain and Training and Checking Pilot to join our Flight Operations team in Port Hedland. The role is touring to Port Hedland, WA.

We are seeking a Training and Checking Captain who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to safety and operational excellence, coupled with a collaborative mindset and the ability to communicate clearly and lead effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct training and checking duties to support crew development in the delivery of HMPT services

• Act as a Captain for H135 HMPT operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

• Conduct marine pilot transfers and various aerial work operations with a focus on safety and professionalism on an equal-time roster.

• Collaborate with our passionate team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• Current CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate

• 2000 hrs Total Time Helicopter

• 1000 hrs PIC Helicopter

• 100 hrs EC135

• Instrument Rating MEH with 2D/3D endorsements

• NVIS Rating

• 50 hours NVIS flight time

• Flight Instructor Rating Grade 2 or Grade 1

• Training Endorsements for IF and NVIS

Desired Qualifications:

• Current HUET, DG Awareness

• Previous maritime/overwater experience

• Flight Examiner Rating

• Previous CASR Part 133/138 TCS Training and Checking Experience
