Hockey Scorekeeper

Tampa Bay Skating Academy Oldsmar and Clearwater Ice Arena seek part-time employees for scorekeeping positions for hockey games and hockey tournaments hosted at the rinks.

Games are held at night and on weekends and are perfect for individuals who have knowledge of ice hockey and are looking for a part-time job. Training is provided.

Job Summary

• Must be an excellent multitasker.
• Have a high attention to detail.
• Communication skills with front desk staff, coaches, officials, and Hockey Director(s) are necessary.
• Hockey or other sports scorekeeping experience preferred.
• Operate rink scoreboard for game time, goals, and penalties.
• Maintain cleanliness on player benches, penalty boxes, and score booth between games.
• Closing/end of shift duties as assigned

AVAILABILITY / SCHEDULE: Candidates should be available for at least two of these shifts to be considered for immediate employment. Otherwise, scorekeepers can expect to be scheduled for 2-7 hour shifts during any of the following days/times:

• Mondays-Thursdays: 8 p.m. - 1 a.m.
• Fridays: 5 p.m. - 1 a.m.
• Saturdays: 7 a.m. - 9 p.m.
• Sundays- 7 a.m. - 12 a.m.

COMPENSATION: This part-time, W2 based hourly position pays $16.00/hour.
