We are seeking a motivated Hod Carrier/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring smooth job site operations. Duties

• Assist skilled tradespeople by carrying materials, tools, and equipment around the job site efficiently and safely
• Prepare and organize work areas, including setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers
• Use hand tools such as hammers, chisels, and shovels to support masonry, carpentry, roofing, or other trades as needed
• Operate power tools under supervision for tasks like cutting or drilling when required
• Support bricklaying and masonry activities by mixing mortar or transporting bricks and blocks
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by disposing of debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely in a construction setting
• Basic knowledge of masonry, carpentry, roofing, or welding is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Experience with power tools preferred but not required
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor throughout the day
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to follow safety procedures diligently
