Hogan Developer (Remote W2 Only)

Position Overview

The team is seeking a Hogan Software Engineer to support system enhancements and business-as-usual projects. You will help evaluate and improve existing banking applications while supporting their ongoing functionality and reliability.

The role includes developing modules from programming specifications, estimating application changes, designing and executing tests, implementing modifications, and troubleshooting production issues. You will also serve as a technical resource for technical teams and business partners.

Technology Environment

• Hogan: Experience with CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, or Umbrella is preferred.
• ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing tools: Used to manage and track support requests and technical work.
• Agile and Waterfall: Development methodologies supporting application delivery and maintenance.
• Banking applications: Experience with debit and credit card systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application modules based on programming specifications.
• Evaluate existing systems, processes, and applications to identify improvements.
• Deliver system enhancements and support ongoing maintenance.
• Prepare technical documentation and testing materials.
• Estimate development effort for new features and application changes.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality.
• Assist with implementing system modifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with management, associates, and business units.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of software application development and maintenance experience, or a high school diploma/GED and at least eight years of relevant experience.
• Advanced experience with ServiceNow or another IT ticketing system.
• In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hogan modules, including CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, or Umbrella.
• Experience with debit and credit card applications.
• Computer Science degree or related field of study.
• Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with technical teams and business partners.
