Hogan Software Engineer

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Hogan Software Engineer to support core banking applications, system enhancements, and ongoing production support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and supporting Hogan core banking systems within an enterprise environment.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of software application development and maintenance experience, or high school diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
• Strong hands-on experience developing, maintaining, or supporting Hogan core banking applications
• Experience with Hogan modules such as CIS, IDS, DDA, TDA, PAS, or Umbrella
• Advanced experience with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems
• Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
• Experience troubleshooting production applications and resolving technical issues
• Exposure to debit and credit card systems is a plus
• Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (U.S. Permanent Resident)

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Hogan core banking applications
• Evaluate existing systems and implement enhancements to improve functionality and performance
• Utilize programming specifications to develop modules and implement system modifications
• Develop and execute test plans to validate application functionality
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing technical support
• Estimate development efforts for new features and system enhancements
• Collaborate with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders to support application needs
• Participate in rotating on-call production support
