Hoist Operator needed at Bristol Airport

Job Description:

The Hoist Operator is responsible for the safe operation of construction hoists used to transport materials, equipment, and personnel across the site. The role requires careful monitoring of hoist movements, adherence to site safety procedures, and ensuring equipment is operated in a safe and controlled manner.

Key Duties:

• Operate the site hoist safely to raise, lower, and transport materials, equipment, or personnel as required.
• Follow signals and instructions from authorised site personnel when operating the hoist.
• Carry out daily pre-operational safety checks on the hoist machinery, including cables and control systems.
• Monitor hoist operations closely to ensure safe and efficient movement at all times.
• Ensure hoist loading limits are not exceeded and loads are secured appropriately.
• Report any equipment defects, faults, or safety concerns to the site supervisor or management immediately.
• Comply with all site health and safety regulations and operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid right to work in the UK.
• Valid CPCS A20 Hoist Operator ticket.
• Safety Critical Medical (may be required depending on site requirements)

Hours of work

Monday to Friday 18:00 - 02:00
