Holiday Lighting Technician

HOLIDAY LIGHTING TECHNICIAN — $20–$40+/HR — EAST SIDE CLEVELAND

You've driven past those houses in December. The ones with perfectly straight rooflines, every bulb lit, the kind people slow down to look at.

Somebody got paid to do that. This season, it could be you.

Chagrin Valley Holiday & Permanent Lights is hiring installers for the 2026 season. We light up homes across Solon, Aurora, Chagrin Falls, Hudson, Mayfield Village and the surrounding east side. We're booking fast and need hard-working people who take pride in clean, sharp work.

WHAT YOU'LL MAKE

• Performance-based pay: $20–$40+ per hour depending on how fast and clean you work

• Extra bonuses for zero callbacks and 5-star customer reviews

• Return bonus if you come back next season

• Get paid weekly

Work hard, work smart, and your paycheck shows it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install professional C9 LED lights on rooflines, gutters, peaks and landscaping

• Follow a pre-made design for each house (you don't have to guess)

• Take everything down after the season

• Handle a few service calls when a strand needs a fix

We have openings for both lead installers (roof and ladder work) and ground techs (bushes, trees, walkways, support).

THE SEASON

• Installs: October through mid-December

• Takedowns: January, weather permitting

• Service calls here and there in between

Great for anyone who wants serious extra money heading into Christmas.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Comfortable on ladders (roof experience a big plus for lead installers)

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (truck is a bonus)

• Available weekdays and/or Saturdays

• Fine working outside in the cold

• Shows up on time, respects customers' homes, and cares about the details

• Carries your own general liability insurance, or is willing to get it (1099 independent contractor role)

No lighting experience? That's okay. Roofing, gutters, painting, construction, landscaping or any hands-on work translates well. We'll train you on our system.

HOW TO APPLY (READ THIS PART)

We don't want a resume. We want to meet you.

Record a quick 60–90 second video on your phone and tell us:

1. Your name and what part of town you're in

2. Any ladder, roof or hands-on work you've done

3. What days you're available

4. Why you'd crush this job

Email your video to: [email protected]

Questions? Call or text: 330-839-2470

Spots are limited and the season starts soon. The people who send their video first get the first interviews.
