Holistic General Dentist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dental care using holistic and biological dentistry principles.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that consider patients' oral health and overall wellness.
• Perform general dentistry procedures while emphasizing biocompatible materials and minimally invasive treatment approaches.
• Follow established safety protocols for mercury amalgam removal.
• Educate patients about holistic oral health practices, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with patients through clear communication and patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with applicable dental regulations and infection-control standards.
• Stay current with developments in holistic, biological, and integrative dentistry.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver high-quality, comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active Tennessee dental license in good standing.
• Current clinical experience practicing holistic or biological dentistry is required.
• SMART certification through the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology (IAOMT) is strongly preferred.
• IAOMT Accreditation (AIAOMT) or IABDM Certified Biological Dentist (C-IABDM) is required or preferred, depending on the candidate's existing credentials and willingness to complete the remaining certification.
• Candidates holding one of the required credentials may be considered if they are willing to pursue the additional certification.
• Strong clinical skills in comprehensive general dentistry.
• Excellent communication and patient education skills.
• A genuine commitment to holistic health principles and patient-centered care.

Compensation

• Daily guarantee: $1,000 per day for the first five months.
• Production-based compensation: Transition to 33%-35% of collections after the initial five-month guarantee, depending on experience.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
