Home Care Assistant

To provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in line with the values and standards of Motherly Love Domiciliary Care Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and safe personal care and support to service users.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, ensuring individuals feel valued and heard.
• Support with medication administration and accurate record-keeping as per company policy and training.
• Promote independence and choice in all aspects of care delivery.
• Report any concerns, changes in condition, or incidents to the office or on-call manager promptly.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and uphold the company’s code of conduct at all times.
• Attend mandatory training, supervision, and team meetings to maintain skills and knowledge.
• Follow all company policies, CQC Fundamental Standards, and Health & Safety guidelines.

Essential:

• Willingness to undertake full induction and ongoing training.
• Ability to maintain accurate and clear records.
• Respect for confidentiality and individual rights.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a care or support role not essential – full training provided.
• Willingness to work towards achieving NVQ/QCF Level 2–5 in Health & Social Care (company-funded).

in addition to hourly rate - contracted hours after probation

£700 yearly bonus (two yearly payments)

Through Self Assessment, you can claim 45p per mile for the first 10,000 business miles, and 25p per mile thereafter.

This covers all mileage connected to work.

Our accountant can assist you with completing your Self Assessment, or you may choose to complete it yourself.

You can also claim expenses for washing your uniform.

Pay: £14.15-£30.00 per hour
