Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
• Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring adherence to best practices in senior care, medication administration, and home safety protocols.
• Oversee daily operations of the care home or home care services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance measures.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies to optimize client outcomes and support continuity of care.
• Monitor staff performance through supervising experience, providing ongoing training, feedback, and leadership to foster a motivated team environment.
• Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure consistent delivery of compassionate care.
• Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, incident reports, and compliance records to uphold transparency and accountability.

Experience

• Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting.
• Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care strategies to support clients with cognitive impairments.
• Background in nursing or related healthcare fields preferred; relevant certifications such as nursing license are advantageous.
• Familiarity with creating and managing care plans that address complex health conditions including medication administration.
• Experience managing a care home or home care service is highly desirable; ability to lead teams effectively is essential.
• Strong communication skills combined with a passion for providing exceptional eldercare in a compassionate manner.
