Home Care Scheduler

About the role

A proactive and detail-oriented Home Care Scheduler role that ensures client shifts are filled with the right caregivers while also serving as the first point of contact at the front desk. You'll be the face of the business for caregivers and play a key role in maintaining smooth operations.

Key responsibilities

• Efficiently schedule caregivers and HHAs to meet client needs
• Align client healthcare plans with caregiver availability
• Proactively inform clients and staff of schedule changes
• Develop strong professional relationships with caregivers and clients
• Maintain accurate staff and client records in WellSky
• Track and update caregiver documents (licenses, insurance, TB tests, annual training)
• Participate in initiatives to enhance service quality
• Report scheduling conflicts to the team manager
• Handle reception, calls, filing, photocopying, and mail

About you

• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum 2 years of relevant scheduling experience (Home Health setting preferred)
• Experience scheduling nurses to facilities/hospitals
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and licensing requirements
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
