We are seeking our final puzzle piece to complete our Scheduling Team! At Compassionate Caregivers Home Care, scheduling is much more than filling shifts. It is the heartbeat of our organization. We are seeking a highly organized, solutions-driven Scheduling Coordinator who thrives in a creative environment and understands that every scheduling decision directly impacts the lives of our clients, caregivers, and their families.

Position Summary

This is an elite scheduling position responsible for coordinating caregiver schedules while maintaining continuity of care, maximizing consistency, and ensuring every client receives the highest level of service.

The ideal candidate understands the urgency that comes with home care and can confidently manage changing priorities while maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.

Schedule

Monday-Friday

9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Rotating after-hours on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily caregiver schedules for clients throughout the Columbus area.

Match caregiver skills, personality, availability, and experience with client needs.
Respond quickly and professionally to call-offs, schedule changes, and urgent staffing situations.
Coordinate staffing for new client admissions while maintaining continuity of care.
Communicate schedule updates promptly with caregivers, clients, and office staff.
Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation.
Collaborate with the nursing and care management teams to ensure exceptional continuity of care.
Coach caregivers professionally regarding attendance, scheduling expectations, and company policies.
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and families.
Exercise sound judgment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with field coverage when necessary to ensure clients never go without care.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience in a physician's office, surgery center, home care agency, or similar healthcare environment
• Minimum 6 months of verifiable professional caregiver experience Ability and willingness to provide direct client care if emergency coverage is needed
  Valid driver's license
  Proof of automobile insurance
  Reliable transportation
  Strong computer and organizational skills
  Excellent written and verbal communication
  Exceptional attention to detail
  Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
  Ability to remain calm and organized during urgent situations
  Junior-level management or supervisory experience preferred but not required
  Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and professional ethics

Compensation & Benefits
