What Will You Be Doing? As a Home Care Assistant , you'll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

✅ Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion

✅ Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines

✅ Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition

✅ Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans

✅ Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks

✅ Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment

✅ Offering companionship and emotional support

✅ Building positive and professional relationships with the people you support

✅ Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care

✅ Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team

✅ Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
