Home Child Care Provider

Overview

A private household in Mississauga is seeking a reliable and caring Home Child Care Provider to provide full-time care for children in the employer's home. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the children, supporting their daily routines, preparing meals, organizing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy home environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Take children to and from school and appointments as required
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
• Cook meals as required

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Previous child care experience is an asset
• Ability to communicate in English
• Reliable, responsible and organized
• Able to work independently in a private household environment

• Employer's home
• On-site work
• Mississauga, Ontario
• Live-out position
