Position Title: In-Home Care Nurse (1:1 Care)

Location:Decatur, GA 30034

Schedule: 4/10-hour shifts available (Flexible scheduling options)

Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Overview

Recovery Path Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one in-home nursing care for a 9-year-old child Diagnosis: .FND Functional Neurological Disorder . The nurse will deliver skilled and nurturing support within the home environment, ensuring the child’s safety, health, and developmental progress while supporting the family in managing daily care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct skilled nursing care in accordance with the child’s individualized care plan.
• Monitor vital signs, medication administration as prescribed.
• Support developmental and therapeutic activities under physician and family guidance.
• Document all nursing interventions and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising nurse and family.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards in the home environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists and physicians, as needed.
• Educate and support family members on the child’s care routines and medical needs.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license. Experienced Lpn may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric or home health experience (experience with children with developmental delays preferred).
• CPR/BLS certification (PALS preferred).
• Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
