Work Overview

We are looking for a Home Health Speech Language Pathologist Field Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising and providing support to home health Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) and/or Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) while ensuring high quality care is delivered to patients in their home environments. The Field Supervisor will also build caseloads for the home health SLPAs and/or SLP-CFs by conducting patient evaluations and ensure that patient goals are met in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for home health SLPAs and/or SLP-CFs, offering guidance and support in clinical decision-making, patient care and documentation
• Conduct regular field visits to ensure quality care is being provided and offer mentorship
• Monitor and evaluate SLPAs and/or SLP-CFs progress in treating their caseloads, providing constructive feedback if necessary
• Build and maintain caseloads for home health SLPAs and/or SLP-CFs, ensuring an appropriate mix of patients to optimize productivity and treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the team to adjust caseloads on therapist availability and patient needs
• Ensure that caseload management aligns with company policies, regulatory requirements and best practices
• Conduct at least 8 patient evaluations per week assessing patient needs and function to develop individualized treatment plans

Requirements

• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Speech Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and valid Speech Language Pathologist(CCC-SLP) license in the state of Texas
• At least 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a home health or clinical setting
• Valid proof of auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
