Home Heath Aide

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a commitment to caregiving and the ability to work effectively with individuals who may have developmental disabilities or require long-term care.

We are looking for aides who can provide services for Dayton, Oh and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
• Take and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of client health status.
• Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities or appointments.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.

Experience

• Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with medication administration and monitoring vital signs is advantageous.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in long-term care settings is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A caring attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality home community care.
