Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated individual to join our team as a Home Improvement Helper/Apprentice.

No previous experience is required! We are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate is someone who is willing to learn, takes direction well, is dependable, and is moldable and open to learning new skills.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with general home improvement and remodeling projects
• Learn and assist with drywall installation, repair, and finishing
• Learn basic painting and interior/exterior touch-ups
• Assist with basic carpentry, trim, molding, and woodwork
• Assist with flooring installation and repairs
• Help with kitchen and bathroom renovation projects
• Assist with demolition and preparation work
• Learn to safely use hand and power tools
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials under supervision
• Load, unload, and organize tools and materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
• Work safely and responsibly in customers’ homes
• Assist experienced team members with various home improvement projects
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• No previous experience required — we will train the right person
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Must be willing and eager to learn
• Must be able to take direction and follow instructions
• Must be moldable and open to learning our way of doing things
• Must have a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Must take pride in your work
• Must be comfortable working in residential homes
• Ability to perform physical labor, including standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying materials
• Ability to work independently after training and as part of a team

We are looking for someone who may not have experience yet but wants to learn a trade and develop valuable hands-on skills.

Starting Pay: $16.00 - $20.00/hour
