Rolo Home Inspections is looking for a licensed home inspector to join our established Hudson Valley team. We provide all of the clients, scheduling and equipment, you bring your expertise! We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping people understand their homes, and brings professionalism and care to every inspection.

You’ll work alongside knowledgeable inspectors with dedicated office support for scheduling and customer coordination.

**What you’ll do**

• Perform thorough residential home inspections throughout our service area.
• Prepare accurate, detailed inspection reports with clear photographs and practical explanations.
• Walk clients through findings in a calm, approachable way.
• Communicate professionally with clients, real estate agents, and teammates.
• Follow applicable inspection standards, safety practices, and company procedures.
• Maintain company-provided inspection equipment and complete reports within company deadlines.

**What we’re looking for**

• An active New York State Home Inspector license.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and home systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and clear written and verbal communication.
• Reliability, sound judgment, and a friendly, professional manner.
• Comfort using inspection reporting software and mobile technology.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the Hudson Valley.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of inspections, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.

Prior inspection experience is preferred. Additional experience or credentials in septic inspections, plumbing, electrical, contracting, mold assessment, or other related services are a plus. Licensed inspectors earlier in their careers are also welcome to apply.

• Compensation: Commission based, $75,000-95,000 expected, 401k with company match
• Schedule: Inspector maintains regular availability throughout the week, and is typically scheduled for up to 2 inspections (around 2 hours each) per work day, including some Saturdays and/or Sundays each month. Specific scheduling will be coordinated in advance, but consistent weekend availability is needed on Saturdays or Sundays.
• Company-provided equipment, tools, insurances and software.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
