As a Helper/Mechanic, you will work alongside skilled craftsmen and the owner-operator, assisting with a wide range of residential remodeling projects. This paid position offers valuable hands-on experience across multiple trades and provides an excellent opportunity to develop your construction and home improvement skills while contributing to high-quality renovations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demolition, framing, drywall installation, flooring, carpentry, and finish work on residential remodeling projects.
• Safely and efficiently operate hand tools and power tools.
• Support roofing, siding, window installation, and other remodeling activities.
• Prepare and maintain job sites by setting up scaffolding, protecting work areas, organizing materials, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Work closely with experienced craftsmen to complete projects on schedule and to high-quality standards.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience in construction, remodeling, or a related trade is preferred but not required.
• A strong willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential.
• Experience in carpentry, flooring installation, tile work, window installation, cabinet installation, or other residential trades is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, hardworking, and committed to quality workmanship.
