Home Services Manager

Brief Description Ethos Care Group is looking for an experienced Home Services Manager to lead all non-clinical nursing home operations. As a senior manager on site you’ll be responsible for occupancy, financial performance, support services and the resident and family experience. You’ll work closely with the Person in Charge, who leads clinical care. This is a visible, hands-on leadership role reporting to the COO.

What You’ll Do

• Take lead responsibility for occupancy by building strong referral networks with Dublin hospitals, GPs and HSE services.
• Own the home’s budget and financial performance, including payroll, purchasing and resident accounts.
• Lead and develop the housekeeping, kitchen, maintenance and administration teams.
• Oversee health and safety, risk management, food safety and the upkeep of the premises.
• Work with HR on recruitment, training and staff engagement, building an open, person-centred culture.
• Deputise for the Person in Charge and take part in the senior management on-call rota.

What You’ll Bring

• A degree in Healthcare Management, Business or a related discipline.
• At least three years’ experience in a senior health or social care role, ideally managing a residential care setting.
• Proven full budget and P&L responsibility, including occupancy growth and cost control.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams and managing employee relations.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulation, health and safety, fire safety and HACCP.

A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field would be an advantage. So would experience of the Fair Deal scheme, NTPF or HSE contracting, or established relationships in the Dublin healthcare sector.
