Home Services Technician

Now Hiring: Home Services Technician

Vernon Spider Control

Vernon Spider Control is growing beyond pest control.

We are looking for a motivated, dependable person to join our team as a Home Services Technician.

Pest control will be the main part of the job, but we are building our company into a broader home-services business. As we continue to grow, our technicians will have the opportunity to learn and perform a variety of services that help our customers maintain, protect, and improve their homes.

Our services currently include:

• Residential pest control

• Roof moss treatment and removal

• Gutter cleaning

• Window cleaning

• Driveway sealing

• Various other home and property services

We also believe that if a customer trusts us with their home, we should be willing to help whenever we can. That means the job won't always fit neatly into a box. As we expand, new services and opportunities will continue to be added.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be assisting with and eventually performing residential pest-control services. This includes things such as:

• Removing spider webs, nests, and other pest-related buildup

• Assisting with pest-control treatments and equipment

• Inspecting homes and properties for signs of pests

• Identifying potential pest-entry points and problem areas

• Performing seasonal home-maintenance services

• Working on roofs, gutters, windows, driveways, and other residential projects

• Maintaining equipment and keeping work areas clean and organized

• Providing friendly, professional service to homeowners

• Helping with new services as our company continues to expand

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a positive attitude and takes pride in their work

• Is reliable and shows up ready to work

• Can work independently once trained

• Is comfortable working outdoors and around residential properties

• Is physically capable of performing the work required

• Is comfortable working at heights when properly trained and equipped

• Communicates well with customers

• Pays attention to detail

• Is willing to learn new skills

• Isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed

Experience in pest control or home services is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Why This Isn't Just Another Job

We are intentionally expanding beyond traditional pest control.

The goal is to build a company that customers can call when they need someone they trust to take care of their property.

That means the work will continue to evolve. Someone joining us today could eventually learn multiple trades and services, take on more responsibility, and grow with the company as we expand.

If you like working with your hands, being outside, meeting customers, solving problems, and learning new things, this could be a great fit.
