We are looking to add a flexible, design-minded Home Staging Designer & Project Support professional to our staging team. This is a hands-on, project-based role with two important functions: working as a designer to style and accessorize spaces for home staging projects, and providing additional project support to our Lead Stager as needed.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, is highly organized and dependable, and can confidently design, style, and accessorize spaces while also working collaboratively as part of our staging team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, style, and accessorize spaces for home staging projects, independently or in support of the Lead Stager
- Support the Lead Stager with project preparation and on-site staging needs
- Assist with staging installations when additional design support is needed
- Assist with de-staging projects as needed
- Support the Lead Stager in preparing for upcoming staging projects, including pulling and tagging inventory
- Assist with inventory organization and identifying items needed for upcoming projects
- Assist with project-related shopping for décor, towels, accessories, and other supplies
- Communicate professionally with team members, movers, vendors, and clients when appropriate
- Be willing to take on a variety of hands-on tasks to support the Lead Stager and keep projects moving efficiently
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in home staging, interior design, visual merchandising, real estate, or a related field preferred
- Strong eye for design, proportion, scale, and styling
- Understanding of the expectations and nuances of the luxury market
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem-solve and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently while also collaborating effectively with the Lead Stager and staging team
- Flexible and comfortable with project-based scheduling and changing deadlines
- Current valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to and from the warehouse and job sites
- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Danbury, CT warehouse, as regular travel to the warehouse and job sites throughout Connecticut and Westchester will be required
- Physically able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb, bend, maneuver, and comfortably navigate stairs while working on job sites
- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning staging inventory systems, design software, and other technology used in day-to-day operations
Why Join Us?
This is a flexible opportunity to work alongside an experienced Lead Stager and design team on a variety of high-end residential projects.
You’ll gain hands-on experience with installations, styling, inventory preparation, and the behind-the-scenes work that goes into successfully staging a home.
