Home Support Worker

Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Support Workers to provide essential in-home care and assistance to individuals in need. Duties

• Provide medication reminders as prescribed and monitor health conditions
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences if needed
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
• Assist with transportation to appointments or errands as needed
• Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation

Requirements

• Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently to maintain hygiene standards in the home environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
