Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Homemaker Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of homemakers, caregivers, and support staff to ensure high-quality resident care aligned with individualized care plans.
• Oversee daily operations of the care facility, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to meet resident needs efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards across all aspects of home and community care services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans that address specific needs such as dementia care, Alzheimer's support, memory care, and disability services.
• Manage medication administration procedures in accordance with healthcare regulations and resident rights.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to resident progress, incident reports, staff records, and regulatory compliance using Microsoft Office tools.
• Lead team meetings, provide training on dementia care techniques, Alzheimer's support strategies, and updates on healthcare financial management practices.

Skills

• Extensive experience working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities with a strong understanding of long-term care regulations and senior living operations.
• Proven supervisory experience managing care teams within residential or community-based settings.
• Deep knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s support strategies, memory care techniques, and resident’s rights advocacy.
• Familiarity with developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs involving healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities services programs is highly desirable.
• Sound understanding of healthcare financial management, budgeting, and operational management within a long-term care environment.
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, foster a positive work culture, and ensure compliance with health regulation policies.
